Amid the Hills of Wahgi Valley, Papua New Guinea, in the shadow of Mount Hagen Volcano lies Ulya Plantation. This small-holder farm takes advantage of its high altitude and fertile volcanic soil to cultivate some of the finest coffee the east Asia region has to offer. This Arusha varietal is hand-picked and wet-processed at origin, then roasted to bring out the inherent notes of tart cherry and toffee in the cup. This is balanced with a creamy medium body and rounded out by a delicate acidity that truly makes this coffee a shining example of what PNG coffees have to offer.
